Polaris star Natalie Portman told The Hollywood Reporter she’s not going to “be part of that world.”
She’s not just not coming back, either.
The actress is staying on in the role of Princess Leia, and even has a new series of films to finish.
“I’m not going back to the world,” Portman said.
“I’m staying with my family and the fact that I’ve done something amazing.
But, yeah, I’m not coming in, no.”
We know that Leia’s been missing for a while.
The news first broke on Monday.
“We’ll see what happens.
That’s what I’m really hoping for,” she said.
But we also know that we’re not going, either, if the movie is a flop.
In addition to her new movie, Portman is working on a sequel to “Avengers,” as well as her next film, “The Greatest Showman,” in which she stars alongside Ben Affleck.
Portman will make a cameo in the “Axe Man” sequel, as well.
The actor, who is known for her big-screen roles, was not on set when filming wrapped.
Portaman’s return has come as a surprise, but she says it’s not because she hasn’t seen the movie.
“It’s been a little bit of a surprise because I’ve not seen it.
But I was there in the car with the other actors and we were filming and they were just going, ‘We can’t do this anymore,'” she said, laughing.
“But it was just a fun day, and it’s fun to see that all of my friends are back together.
It was a good day.”
