Haryanvi has been the world’s largest producer of organic and biotechnology products.
But Birlas Organics, a Birlahal, has been busy with a $3.3 million buyout to manufacture organic and bio-friendly products.
The sale will see Birlis own BIO products manufactured at its plant in Jammu and Kashmir, in the eastern state of Rajasthan.
Birli said it would use the new plant to further expand production of BIO-based products for consumers.
The company has also started making its own organic food and beverages.
Birla, the world largest organic food retailer, has over 1,200 brands of products in over 80 countries.
Its BIO business is valued at over $12 billion, with Birlat’s organic products making up the lion’s share.
Its organic products are sold in the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, Mexico and South Africa.
The company has said that its products have been used by over 1.3 billion people worldwide.
Bios products are also used by the healthcare sector, the agricultural sector, and the biotechnology industry.
Biro’s chairman said that the purchase would help Birlus organic business expand into new markets.
Bio is the science of the production of bio-available products that have no pesticides or chemical additives, and are biodegradable, non-toxic, and biodegradeable.
